
4 days AFF (Advanced Fire Fighting) in South of France
Seascope are delighted to announce approval by the MCA to conduct
STCW Advanced Fire Fighting in the South of France.
This course forms part of the training for Deck and Engineering Officers designated to Manage and Control Onboard Firefighting Operations.
On completion of the 4-day course, students will have acquired a thorough knowledge of firefighting procedures and firefighting appliances on board a vessel. They will be able to confidently operate all firefighting equipment, organise tactical teams for proficiency in prevention and control of fire.

- Fire-fighting Installations and Detection Systems
- Respiration and Breathing Apparatus
- Command and Control
- Fire Team Organisation
- Strategy and Tactics
- Search and Rescue
- Casualty Response and Management
- Stability Issues
- Hazardous Cargo
- Fire Investigation and Reporting
The 4 Days of the AFF COURSE will take place between Antibes & Contes. With just a 40 minute commute to the fireground, students will make a massive saving on both their time and money!
Programme of training is approved by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and meets the requirements laid down in:
Regulation VI/3 paragraph 1 and Section A-VI/3, paragraphs 1 to 4 of the STCW Convention and Code 1978 as amended.
