This one hour documentary follows four ex-merchant seamen returning to New York to reveal a hidden history of how Liverpool Seamen, travelling on the world-famous Cunard Liners, steered UK popular culture and fashion into uncharted waters. These pioneers of fashion, style and music were responsible for a music revolution which led to the Liverpool sound and The Beatles, and projected Liverpool onto the world stage.
