Seascope are delighted to announce approval by the MCA to offer STCW Advanced Fire Fighting in the South of France.

STCW Advanced Fire Fighting training forms part of the training required for deck and engineering officers wishing to apply for or to validate their Certificates of Competency, along with crew designated to manage and control fire-fighting operations on board the vessel.

The 4 day course involves a combination of theoretical and practical exercises in fire-fighting.  Students taking this course must hold their basic STCW Fire-Prevention and Fire fighting certificate and be in good physical condition.

The course starts off with a day in our classroom in Antibes, and then out to our purpose built fire facility at the fireground in Contes for further theory and practical work.
