At Seascope we understand the importance of continuity and therefore, not only do we use the same instructor for the entire 5 day course we also ensure that the methods / techniques delivered during this course are the same that are delivered on our Oral Prep Courses for Master and OOW. Whilst our instructors are RYA qualified Yachtmaster Instructors they also hold, as a minimum, MCA STCW Officer of the Watch (OOW) CoC.

This course equips you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages. It allows some time for revision of the basics and then moves on to advanced navigation techniques.

This course will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills.
